Beastly
I am a beast. A beast. Not quite wolf or bear, gorilla or dog, but a horrible new creature who walks upright – a creature with fangs and claws and hair springing from every pore. I am a monster. You think I’m talking fairy tales? No way. The place is New York City. The time is now. It’s no deformity, no disease. And I’ll stay this way forever – ruined – unless I can break the spell. Yes, the spell, the one the witch in my English class cast on me. Why did she turn me into a beast who hides by day and prowls by night? I’ll tell you. I’ll tell you how I used to be Kyle Kingsbury, the guy you wished you were, with money, perfect looks, and a perfect life. And then, I’ll tell you how I became perfectly BEASTLY.

Diary,
I am locked away... With no one to confide in but you... and him. His fur, those claws-they caught me of guard at first, but now I'm noticing something else about him-something deeper. It's the look in his eye. It tells me he's got a secret to keep. That's okay-I've got one too. I think I'm falling in love with him...

Cloaked
I’m not your average hero. I actually wasn’t your average anything. Just a poor
guy working an after-school job at a South Beach shoe repair shop to help his
mom make ends meet. But a little magic changed it all. It all started
with the curse. And the frognapping. And one hot-looking princess, who asked me
to lead a rescue mission. There wasn’t a fairy godmother or any of that.
And even though I fell in love along the way, what happened to me is unlike any
fairy tale I’ve ever heard. Before I knew it, I was spying with a flock of
enchanted swans, talking (yes, talking!) to a fox named Todd, and nearly
trampled by giants in the Everglades. Don’t believe me? I didn’t believe it either. But you’ll see Because I knew it all was true, the second I got CLOAKED.

Towering
High in my tower I sit. I watch the birds fly below, the clouds float above, and
the tall, green forest stretch to places I might never see. Mama, who
isn’t my mother, has kept me hidden away for eight long years. My only
companions, besides Mama, are my books – great adventures, mysteries, and
romances, that I long to make my reality. But I know that no one will come to
save me—my life is not a fairy tale after all. Well, at least no one
has come so far. Recently, my hair has started to grow rapidly and it is now
long enough to reach the bottom of the tower from my window. I’ve also had the
strangest dreams of a beautiful green-eyed boy. When Mama isn’t around,
I plan my escape, even if it’s just for a little while. There’s something—
maybe someone—waiting for me out there and it won’t find me if I’m trapped here
TOWERING above it all.

Bewitching
Bewitching can be a beast. . . Once, I put a curse on a beastly and
arrogant high school boy. That one turned out all right. Others didn’t.
I go to a new school now—one where no one knows that I should have
graduated long ago. I’m not still here because I’m stupid; I just don’t age.
You see, I’m immortal. And I pretty much know everything after hundreds
of years —except for when to take my powers and butt out. I want to help, but things just go awry in ways I could never predict. Like when I tried to free some children from a gingerbread house and ended up being hanged. After I came back from the dead (Immortal, remember?!), I tried to play matchmaker for a French prince and ended up banished from France forever. And that little mermaid I found in the Titanic lifeboat? I don’t even want to think about it. Now, a girl named Emma needs me. I probably shouldn’t get involved, but her gorgeous stepsister is conniving to the core. I think I have just the thing to fix that girl and it isn’t an enchanted pumpkin. Although you never know what will happen when I start ….BEWITCHING.

A kiss in time
Talia fell under a spell… Jack broke the curse. I was told to beware the accursed spindle, but it was so enchanting, so hypnotic. . . . I was looking for a little adventure the day I ditched my tour group. But finding a comatose town, with a hot-looking chick asleep in it, was so not what I had in mind. I awakened in the same place but in another time—to a stranger’s soft kiss. I couldn’t help kissing her. Sometimes you just have to kiss someone. I didn’t know this would happen. Now I am in dire trouble because my father, the king, says I have brought ruin upon our country. I have no choice but to run away with this commoner! Now I’m stuck with a bratty princess and a trunk full of her jewels. . . . The good news: My parents will freak! Think you have dating issues? Try locking lips with a snoozing stunner who turns out to be 316 years old. Can a kiss transcend all—even time?
Diva
Sometimes, the only one a girl can confide in is her blog!
Subject: Fresh Start
Listening to: Medea (the opera named for the mythological woman who killed her kids just to bug her ex-husband. …Reminds me of my mother)
Feeling: Anticipation
Weight: 112 lbs.
For most people, the word "diva" means brilliant, talented, over-the-top and glamorous. I, otoh, seemed to be trapped in the not-very glamorous life of a cheerleader wannabe with serious ex-boyfriend issues and a permanent yo-yo diet. At least until the day I auditioned for Miami High School of the Arts and-- got in! All I had to do was convince my mother, the cosmetics salesperson with mythically bad taste in clothes and men, that going downtown to hang with the music geeks was a good idea. I had to blackmail her to do it, but I'm here, a diva wannabe and not so sure I can cut it.
Now, what?

Fade to black
What really happened?
The facts: On Monday, October 27, at 6:00 a.m.,
Alex Crusan, an HIV-positive student, was stopped on East Main by an attacker,
who shattered the windows of his car with a baseball bat.
Clinton: Sure, he was riding his bike on East Main that morning. And sure, he had his problems with Alex. He might even have harassed him at school. But he’d never do something like this.
Daria: Daria never lies. So if she told the police she saw Clinton do it, she must have.
Or did she?
Alex: The light was in his eyes, and he was under the steering wheel,
so he didn't see his attacker that well. But he saw something, and now he must decide
how much to tell.
Accused, witness, victim. Three people, one truth. Which one will tell it?

Nothing to lose
"I shouldn't have come back to Miami… I've been escaping cops' notice for a year
now-the year since I ran away. I'm no longer Michael Daye, high school athlete
with a promising future. Now I look like someone with no future. I look like a carny."
A year ago, Michael's life seemed pretty good, at least from a distance. But look closer, and he was a guy on the edge, his stepfather's violent rages making his world spin out of control. Then, Michael met Kirstie, who offered an escape - a traveling carnival with a "no questions asked" policy. He grabbed it, leaving his old life and his mother behind. This year, Michael is back in Miami, and his mother is charged with murdering his stepfather. As the day of her trial nears, Michael wonders how much longer he can hide from his past… and his future.
